Have you ever wondered if you’re using the wrong prospecting scripts? Or saying the wrong things to your contacts? Well, the fact is that of all top trainers to the Direct Sales industry, including Todd Falcone, Dani Johnson, Jeffery Combs and others, you’ll find their prospecting scripts to be very similar. So if most people are saying generally the ‘same thing’ to their prospects, why do some people get far better results than others?

Consider this… it’s NOT your prospecting scripts – what you’re saying – that makes the biggest impact. Instead, it’s often what you’re NOT saying …  it’s what’s being said without saying a word.

The psychology of prospecting (also a great read, by Jeffery Combs) has more to do with what’s going on inside you. People hear your fears loud and clear.

If you have a fear that your prospect will object to making the investment required to join you in business, chances are YOUR PROSPECT WILL OBJECT TO JOINING YOU IN BUSINESS. Same goes for any other fear, including fear of rejection and fear of leading others.

Until you overcome these deep rooted fears, it won’t matter which script you’re reading… you will continue to struggle.

The good news is that any top recruiter and top earner in Direct Sales didn’t have all the skills required to succeed when started their entrepreneurial journey. Anyone that has created results has had to stretch, grow, increase skills, get uncomfortable, seek out mentors, make adjustments, invest money, invest time, get frustrated, keep going, almost give up when they’re nearing “success” and then finally see consistent results.

The biggest “secret” in our industry (‘how to make it big’) is no secret at all. The fact is, there’s always a story behind the story. The reality is that if you want it bad enough, you’ll surround yourself with producers willing to assist you, stick with it long enough to increase your skills, push through your fears and DO IT ! I sure hope you do… because the view from the TOP is indescribable!
